He graduated from the University of Panama medical school in 1983; he then went on to train in general and plastic surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Before returning to Panama City in 2000, Dr. Picard-Ami was the Medical Director of the Institute of Plastic Surgery in Miami, Florida, where he practiced for nearly 10 years. In addition to his formal training in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Picard-Ami did fellowship training in Cosmetic Surgery, Microsurgery, and Cranio and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Breast Implants
Dr. Picard-Ami performed my breast augmentation in early October 2013. I was very worried before the surgery, specifically about the operation (how painful it would be) and worried about choosing the correct size. Dr. Picard-Ami was wonderful in helping to alleviate my concerns, he was incredibly patient with me in selecting a size, even seeing me 3 times prior to surgery in order to make adjustments (2 consultation appointments is standard). Without question he looked at me a third time. At first it was very difficult for me to communicate the right size I wanted with the type of projection I wanted (full and round, but natural), but he managed to understand me and the end result is nothing short of perfect. He was available to answer all my questions before and after surgery and his office staff was always attentive to me. I highly recommend it. As an important note to note, Dr. Picard-AMI is fluent in English and Spanish and since English is my dominant language, he spoke to me fully and fluently in English.

I came to Dr. Wilson's office for a breast implant change + tummy tuck and tummy tuck after my second pregnancy I needed it.
